My name is Daniel. I live in Canberra, Australia, and I am (at the time of this writing) 33 years old. I have always loved reading stories and imagining faraway places and the people in them. I even wrote my own stories when I was younger, although I could never have imagined becoming an author until I started writing Angel’s Fall in December 2023. My inspiration for doing so was because I was working at a job I didn’t find satisfying, so writing became an outlet. Until I truly started thinking about the characters in the story I was writing. Before long, I was actively working on finishing a story and expanding on characters that I grew to genuinely care about. Before I knew it, I had decided to turn Angell’s Fall into a series. I love stories that give people hope, a star to look up to in the darkest sky, if you will. That has been my experience writing Angel’s Fall.

I was born Vision Impaired (no vision in my right eye, partial vision in my left eye) and as such most people have taken it upon themselves to define me be by disability rather than looking at me as a person. Speaking from experience, there is always a star in the sky. The darker the sky, the brighter that star may shine. One of many things I am grateful for in my life is my Guide Dog Simba, my friends, and my family, who have also inspired me to write.
